Hue sort of black silky smooth roasted imperial stout that makes me think of De Molen. Solid black with a disappearing ginco brown head. Smells of deep roast, liquorish and coffee. Smooth silky body. Tastes of rich malt with lots of dark chocolate and a nice bitter roasty coffee finish. A fantastic stout that covers the 12% alcohol perfectly and should be bought in numbers and aged. Bottle from Hungary thanks to my friend Laszlo! Served in a tulip. Pours an opaque black with a thick brown head. Aroma: Really nice mixture of malt, coffee, chocolate. Hints of grapes, bread, licorice. Palate: thick bodied, creamy, really long finish, fairly fizzy. Taste: fairly sweet, becoming slightly bitter in the finish. Really really well balanced. On tap at Elezsto. Ruby hue black with Perfect head. Scent is medium dense notes of toasted malt and caramel. Taste is lovely complex Imperial porter. Rye cask. Grassy properties, unfined. Some ethanol and some herbs. Some dryness. Stange sour properties on caramel. Finish is dry and residual Whisky. Excellent.
