blankboy (7833) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 16, 2010
Cask at ’Volo Cask Days 2010’ . Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a small diminishing bubbly tan head. Lovely hoppy & roasty aroma. Flavour of leafy green hops, lightly roasted dark malt and hints of coffee and nuts. Nice bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. Awesome!

Draught at Cask Republic. Pours dark brown with a creamy grayish tan head. Smells slightly smoky, roasty, resiny, earthy, spicy. Tastes of roasted malt, some tea, peppery, full bodied with a slight chocolatey finish. Nice!

mansquito (6989) - Nueva York, New York, USA - DEC 29, 2011
Farmhouse, Burlington VT 12oz tap ($8.50): Pours a black color with a nice creamy brown head. Aroma is of coffee, chocolate, toffee, booziness, and some other grand stuff. Taste is in the same element. Kind of sweet, but still very manageable. Chocolate and coffee, not quite espresso, but still cool. Good beer and could be either chuggable or sippable, depending on your mood. At this price, I prefer the latter.

Eructoblaster (4413) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 30, 2012
Bottle - 750ml. Opaque black body with low carbonation and a thin beige creamy head. Strong, complex malty/hoppy aroma with chocolate and roasty hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Robust, well balanced hoppy taste with malty, roasted coffee, plummy, and brown sugar notes. Ends with a long, sharp hoppy/roasty finish. Very well done!

kaser (6409) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 28, 2014
Sweet and sugary stout. Like a coffee. Chocolate and even fruity notes. Tasty. Fluffy cotton candy aroma. Really good. Had this on draft at the Hopfenstark brewpub.
