Appears to be a 500ml brown bottle. Guessing on the size as there is no label per se, just a white sticker with "Postcolonial IPA 6.5%" handwritten on it. (Hand?)Bottle from Goldorak. Head started to creep out the bottleneck immediately after uncapping. Very heady pour, 2 fingers plus worth of whitish cream, gernerous lacing on the glass. The beer itself is a hazy amber-orange. It absolutely glows when held up to the light. Hoppy aroma, a mix of oranges with grapefruit and lemon peel notes. Flavour was a bit unexpected - sweet orange hop flavours, lemon acidity, drier malts, some spiciness, earthiness, leather, finishes grapefruity. Some other raters noticed it as well (I thought I may have been imagining it), but theres some resemblance to Orval or De Ranke XX in this brew, which is a good thing in my opinion. Excellent beer. It’s beer like this that make trading so rewarding. Thanks again Goldorak.

On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. An unclear, dark golden to amber colored beer topped by a small, off-white head. Citrusy, piney aroma with a wort-like, bready maltyness. Citrus, pine cones and a nice bitterness dominates the flavor, but there’s too much bready, caramel-ish malts in the back. Lacks a bit on bitterness too I think. Full body and a smooth and nice carbonation. Bitter, piney finish with a malty backdrop. Too much on the malty side this one, and I wouldn’t mind more bitterness either. 150611

draft, a big flowery IPA here, moderate malts (on the wheat and light color aide), then some light belgian style yeast flavors (belgian ale), going to a grassy and floral hop finish. Dry throughout.

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, citrus and grape finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Tap at vices&versa. Amber with small head. Medium body with dry, earthy hops. Medium bitterness. Not my favorite hops, but well made.

Belle couleur ambree avec un col assez resistant. Aromes d’agrumes, d’herbe, de caramel. Moyennement bien balancer. Pas tres impressionnant pour ma part...

On cask at cask days event in toronto. Great ipa. But more on the malt heavy side with caramel , bread, and earthy tones in taste. Hops are subdued a bit here b ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

All’olfatto la birra si presenta giustamente erbacea ma in bocca è un disastro. Carbonazione e luppolatura esagerata ne fanno una birra ai limiti della bevibilità.

On tap at Ho.st. Strangely this tap pours a ridiculously clear gold for an IPA. Big bready citrusy hop aroma. Very soft bodied with a med-full mouthfeel gives it a luscious mouthfeel.
