Carbonation is the most apparent tasting note in this bland IPA- the packaging is the strongest feature. The bottle design is simple and cool, but the beer doesn’t live up to the neat logos.

Strong but a little bit goes a long way. Has an interesting sweet factor on the backend.

A strong example of the false belief that lots of hops is always better. Not all hops are created equal.

Bottled. Cloudy brown. Nice thick head.. Has a nutty malty taste. After a couple drinks grassy piney pops out. Below average IPA Niko100 (2994) - Chicago, New York, USA - MAY 28, 2015
Hazy amber color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of citrus hops, caramel, & some floral; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel, hops, and citrus (notably orange); No real bitterness; Overall, kinda of weird - ok.

Clear golden-orange with a light white head. Bubblegum, very sweet nose. Hint of grapefruit and citrus. Touch of resin. Bitter initially, heavy malt sweetness in the middle and a dry bitter, medium long finish. Relatively clean palate, medium to light body, not a ton of carbonation. Fine, unremarkable IPA.

If this is the future of cerebral drinking experiences maybe my policy of drinking and not thinking has been correct all along. I’m seriously doubting the claim of "years of research" that is on the bottle, or maybe instead of research you could use trial and error. I’m going to finish the six cause its 7.1% and that I paid 10 bucks for it, but I’m not going to like it. This may inspire to be more cerebral in my selection in beers I don’t know, from now on if I see anything related to science on the label I’ll use kinesia to walk on by. Pours cloudy apricot/orange with minimal head and a relentless carbonation release.
Tastes sweet almost spicy, flavored.
Never had an "IPA" quote like this before.
Ot a big fan.

Right. This is an IPA. The 6-pack’s cardboard carrier claims that "the outcome is a refreshing, flavorful, and thought-provoking drinking experience." Okay. What’s thought-provoking is, what is this all about? It looks just fine, golden bodied with a tall creamy head and thick lacing. The aroma isn’t too bad, if mild, some citrus, some floral, an underlying sweetness. The flavor, though, is lacking substance beyond a pale malty sweetness; merely a suggestion of hops appears. There is a very mild bitterness to the finish (55 IBUs?), but that fades quickly. The sturdy alcohol content (7.1% ABV) remains well hidden, but if you’re looking for an IPA, keep looking.
