COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Summerset Saison Ale is made with traditional Saison grains of barley malt, spelt, and raw oats. We added Citra hops to both the kettle and during fermentation-along with complex rustic farmhouse yeast-giving a summer punch bowl of refreshing hoppiness. Enjoy this modern take of a classic artisan ale.

750mL bottle, no date. Clear gold with off-white, fair retention. Citra hops and rinds, some peppery yeast, but not very saison-y. Flavor follows suit, plenty of Citra going on again, some oats. Dry, bitterness at a 4. Light to moderate creamy carbonation with a medium body. Not bad.

750ml bottle poured into snifter. This was exactly what a Florida boy needs. Aroma has a nice floral lemon thing going on. Flavor is a little watery with hints of lemon juice but it most certainly refeshes the palate. Outstanding!!

Bottle thanks to gription79. Poured yellow with a nice white head. Aroma was wheat, citrus, and lemon. Flavor was pretty much the same as the nose with some corriander. Body was light, dry, and fizzy.

Bottle from Gription79. This is an interesting and very good Saison. Pours a golden color with a nice fluffy white head. A thin blanket settles on top and lasts for good. The aroma shows lots of fresh citrus, with leafy notes, yeast, and a little vanilla note. This is maybe a little lighter going down than expected based on a fairly strong aroma, a good thing. Refreshing stuff yet with a lot going on. I definitely like the use of Citra hops. It’s like chewing an orange or tangerine. The finish is a bit dry with firm hop bitterness and an evergreen flavor. The flavor isn’t as yeasty as the aroma; neither good nor bad, but an observation. Bottom line; tasty and refreshing stuff. Thanks Dallas!

Lightly hazy golden kinda lively w a smaller white head that has decent retention and lacing... Nice surprising hoppy aroma, some light peach notes fairly spicy with notable grassiness some faint licorice.... Touch herbal with notes of perhaps basil, sage... Light pepper, the grassiness is faintly present, but the fruits are masked... Smells great, wish it tasted like the smell... Medium to medium full bodied... Fairly dry finish...

Pours a crisp orange with a big white head that leaves subtle lacing. Nose is of hay, and mildly floral. Taste is sweet with a crisp finish. Notes of hay, pale grains, a touch of floral hops, and a touch of peach and or pear. As the beer warms a bit there is a definate spice to pepper flavor that comes out in the finish. Overall this saison is on the sweeter side and is very enjoyable! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
