Bottle from Gription79...thanks Dallas! - Light hazy yellow with a thin white head. Fresh lemongrass, herbal hops, light menthol, grainy, dusty yeast...nice. More sweetness in the taste, with herbal hoppiness, menthol, sweet malt. Pretty thick with nice carbonation. Sweeter than I would have thought, but really good stuff. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - OCT 1, 2011
750ml bottle poured into snifter. This was exactly what a Florida boy needs. Aroma has a nice floral lemon thing going on. Flavor is a little watery with hints of lemon juice but it most certainly refeshes the palate. Outstanding!! NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 11, 2011
Bottle from Sledutah, thanks!. Pours a lightly hazed gold with some orange at the middle. Fluffy white head that persists. The nose is nice. Lots of fruity esters, spice, light cardamom and coriander notes. Citrus is pretty dominant with some floral hopping as well. Nice nose. On taste, really well balanced with enough bitterness to keep it in check. firm malt backbone and dry finish. more of the citrus and cardamom notes come through. Really cool saison and quite tasty. douglas88 (9192) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 3, 2011
750 ml bottle. Pours a totally clear orange color with a large white head. Some lacing. The aroma is sweet earthy grains, some citrus hops, funky, certainly a bit of barnyard in there. The flavor is a unique and awesome brew; sweet citrus, oranges and lemons, light bitterness, smooth peppery spices, very juicy, just a huge amount of flavor here. A nice easygoing and effervescent palate. Totally unique and genius- Donovan this is a homerun. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Bottle from Gription79. This is an interesting and very good Saison. Pours a golden color with a nice fluffy white head. A thin blanket settles on top and lasts for good. The aroma shows lots of fresh citrus, with leafy notes, yeast, and a little vanilla note. This is maybe a little lighter going down than expected based on a fairly strong aroma, a good thing. Refreshing stuff yet with a lot going on. I definitely like the use of Citra hops. It’s like chewing an orange or tangerine. The finish is a bit dry with firm hop bitterness and an evergreen flavor. The flavor isn’t as yeasty as the aroma; neither good nor bad, but an observation. Bottom line; tasty and refreshing stuff. Thanks Dallas!

750ml bottle courtesy of douglas88. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, meon, dry malt, funky. Tastes of juicyfruit, florl, some hay, citrus, dry and perfumy with a melon hint on the finish. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - SEP 3, 2011
Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a great looking hazy orange with fizzy white head. Aroma is very nice, notes of orange, funk, lemon peel, hey, citrus hop, earth. Flavor is much the same with a light tartness with added grass. Light body with high, fizzy carbonation. Overall, very enjoyable! Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - SEP 3, 2011
Bottle thanks to gription79. Poured yellow with a nice white head. Aroma was wheat, citrus, and lemon. Flavor was pretty much the same as the nose with some corriander. Body was light, dry, and fizzy.

Pours a crisp orange with a big white head that leaves subtle lacing. Nose is of hay, and mildly floral. Taste is sweet with a crisp finish. Notes of hay, pale grains, a touch of floral hops, and a touch of peach and or pear. As the beer warms a bit there is a definate spice to pepper flavor that comes out in the finish. Overall this saison is on the sweeter side and is very enjoyable!
