COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Set forth to become the conqueror of extremely special and rare Spanish brandy barrels that were captured by our crew, El Frogquistador was conceived. It had to be prepared for battle, yet lively and agile enough to conquer all this delicious, complex and memorable goodness.

Refrigerated brown bottle poured into a glass. Cloudy golden with small white head. Aroma is liquor, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is sweet liquor and some barrel.

L42 Bottleshare. Very hazy gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light and sweetish malts. Decent orangey dried fruits. Spice. Vague brandy and vanilla. Light finish. Pleasant enough but a little unexciting.

Bottle. Hazy apricot colored pour, almost no carbonation and an aroma of peaches and brandy. Not sure it this bottle was past its prime or not, but it was kind of a muddled mess of bananas, bubblegum and hints of booze. Glad I didn’t pay much for this bottle.

TET (3086) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JUN 16, 2017
A yellow beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma is surprisingly intensive, dried fruitness, but it’s fresher than typically, apricot, some raisins and strenght of barrel. Taste has quite fresh but also intensive dried fruitness, soem raisins, also balanced barrel. Medium+ bodied. Interesting beer, the feeling of appearance isn’t similar than flavours of dried fruitness there, still fresh. Tasteful.

May 2017 - Bottle share at One Canada Square. Thanks Kenny! As ’Hoppin’ Frog Liquor Barrel Aged El Frogquistador’, 8.6%. Dark golden orange, hazy, foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma has lots of green apple, banana, twiggy, apple pie and stewed apple. Paul says cornbread, and I got some of that too. Body is light and smooth with light carbonation. Taste has apple and marmalade, banana peel, more thin apple vibes. I would not come back to this one. (5-4-5-4-12 = 3.0)

Pinball (12169) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2017
Bottle from boxbeers.dk duly chilled to perfection at around 10 celc hazy yellow, small white head. aroma of citrussy booze and also some kind of mild malts. flavor is lots of booze with fruity and woody notes. Tastes like those spanish traditional rural cellar bodages smell.... which bring back memories... sour notes, woody nootes, boozy notes, orange peel, orange juice, red wine, moist wine cellar. nice experience but you probably have had to be in a spanish cellar bodega to get the connection and the deja-vu. very well done frog!
