PotjeBier (3348) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 7, 2016
Cellar (my own) clearance, apparently this is already 4 years old. Honestly, I totally forgot I had this bottle. Pitch black color. Light brown head with still reasonable retention. Aroma’s: (milk) chocolate, roasted, red fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, roasted, some bitterness and fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Chocolatey finish with some roast, moderate bitter. Still very nice, but I shouldn’t have kept it this long. ryanscourt (1475) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 1, 2016
Favorite beer i have had from the brewery thus far. Creamy mouth feel with great texture. I like the hops at the end that leaves a black ipa like feel - pretty agressive. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 5, 2016

Draft at Torst with Andrew and Mike. Pours a pitch black body with tan bubbly lacing. Mouthfeel is chocolate fudge brownie, light dark malt, light sweet roast and chocolate candy. The sweetness is a bit too much and distracts from the overall flavor profile, but the melted fudge character is great.

(from 355mL bottle @ Joris’ & Judy’s Dinner Party. Thanks for sharing, joes!)
Shared bomber poured to snifters, showing an opaque, black/brown color, with a presentable & fairly persistent layer of brownish tan head foam, and clingy spots & streaks of lacing. The aroma was roasted and sweet, with some light grain, and notes of treacle, caramel, and chocolate. Medium bodied, with modest carbonation, the taste was similar notes as the nose, adding some presence of alcohol, moderate, earthy, and lingering bitterness, a sticky & syrupy texture, yet a bit of creaminess to smooth the mouthfeel.
