COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In a collaboration with Fanø Brewery on Fano Island in Denmark, we created an Imperial Stout recipe to satisfy our own deepest desires. Brewing it on this picturesque summertime vacation island is how Natasha started, and of course we couldn’t wait to brew it at Hoppin’ Frog! The result is Natasha Rocks America - a rich, hoppy Imperial Stout with the deep-roasted, smooth flavor of Chocolate Rye malt. And, Natasha is generously dry-hopped with the perfect mix of select American hops, adding a great hop character to this super-tasty Imperial Stout collaboration brew.

Poured from a large bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a thick black color with some visible sediment and a good-sized, large, creamy dark tan head with good retention and very nice cling and lacing. It had a big toasty chocolate aroma with notes of caramel and toffee along with some earthy and grainy hops undertones and bits of molasses and sugar. A nice sweet and malty beer with good chocolate and cocoa flavors along with some caramel and toffee and a light grainy bitterness underneath. It was quite creamy and wet and a little bit light in the mouth with average carbonation. Good beer, shared with Eric.

Bottle, 22oz. A wonderful looking beer, black in color and with a dense, creamy, fingerthick light tan head leaving lacings. The aroma has some alcohol, with roasted malts, coffee, pine cones, orange peel and some sweetish notes. The flavor has a nice bitterness and hoppyness, some chocolate and sweetness, and roasted malts. Full-bodied and creamy, with some alcohol warmth. Lasting roasted and hop-bitter finish with sweetness in the back. A really nice one. Really nice. 140207

Bottle at Øltorget september 3rd 2013. Black body with a medium tanned head. Aroma of dark roasted coffee beans, chocolate, grapefruit, rye. Fruity hoppy taste with roasted malt, toffee towards the end, light alcoholic. Nice bitterness with a herbal chocolate finish. Lots of taste in this one.

Just kinda whatever stout nose, surprisingly high ethyl alcohol presence. Taste is kinda generic chocolatey stout with noticeable peppery note from the rye, carbonation much higher than typical for RIS creates a weird sodalike character. Not a bad beer overall, but fairly bad by RIS standards (while not being horrible).

Bomber @ home. Pitch black color, oily. Thick, dense, beige head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma’s: heavy roast, ground coffee, piney hops, a bit soy sauce, a bit red fruit, chocoladevla. Retronasal there’s heavy roast, sour fruit, piney hops. Flavor is roasted, almost sour, fruity, light sweet, light bitter. In time the sourness all but disappears to make way for more mellow sweetness and chocolate. Medium bodied. Drinks quite easily actually. Finishes with ash and roasted bitterness.

650ml Flasche.
