In a collaboration with Fanø Brewery on Fano Island in Denmark, we created an Imperial Stout recipe to satisfy our own deepest desires. Brewing it on this picturesque summertime vacation island is how Natasha started, and of course we couldn’t wait to brew it at Hoppin’ Frog! The result is Natasha Rocks America - a rich, hoppy Imperial Stout with the deep-roasted, smooth flavor of Chocolate Rye malt. And, Natasha is generously dry-hopped with the perfect mix of select American hops, adding a great hop character to this super-tasty Imperial Stout collaboration brew.

650ml Flasche.

Black with big, flotsam, brown head, fine legs / Muted nose of dry hops, toasted grain, chocolate / Rich, full body, dry and toasty, hoppy with superb balance and bitter but smooth finish / Dusty flavors of cocoa, roast coffee, caramel, pine, citrus, plum, licorice, rye spice / Truly one of the best stouts I’ve had, but I like hoppy stouts.

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika, october 2013. Black color, brownish foam. Roasted aromas, hops, malt and dried fruits : medium high aroma intensity. Medium/ full body & high complexity. Solid bitterness- good balance . Very enjoyable

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. The pour’s brown with a small head. The nose is chocolate chip cookie. Burnt wood. Smooth toffee and dark chocolate. The taste is actually pretty hoppy. Nicely earthy, plenty of dark roasted malts, dry finish. Toffee-dipped chocolate cookie. Full body, rich. Quite good.

Pours a deep black with hint of red. Unique aroma of musty rye and roasted grains, the rye mixing interestingly with the hops. The flavor is rich and interesting. Dark roast with bittersweet chocolate and coffee tones but with an earthy peppery rye that makes the grain bill angled quite a bit towards the rye. The hops are in there but they settle into the richness of the grain, adding some spice and nice herbal balance. The sweetness of the malt overcomes and the carbonation is soft and easy. Started out strange, got really good by the end.

Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma has some chocolate and rye notes. The flavor is similar with some heavy chocolate, rye and roasted malt notes. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lasting brown head. Aromas of milk chocolate, roasted malt, light rye and light smoke. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, rye, and bitter chocolate with a smooth dry lingering bitter chocolate finish.
