Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate malt, rye, moderate to heavy hoppy. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, rye, chocolate, peppery - chili - hoppy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Lovely ;O)

Bottle courtesy of noodleuser, thank you! Very dark clear brown color, few edge bubbles. Aroma of bright pine, rich chocolate, nice spiced, like a spiced black IPA, but richer. Opaque dark brown beer, good dark tan head. Palate is smooth and soft. Super fine carbonation. Smooth and rich creamy malt with a nicely judged coffee streak. Really good fresh smooth orange hops. Finishes smooth. So very smooth and effortlessly drinkable.

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours black-brown with a creamy beige head. Nose of burnt pine, torched flowers, grass and toast. Light to medium sweet flavor with lots of dry char, dark chocolate, earth and more burnt pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Scorched earth bitterness to finish, toasted pine, dry chocolate. Alright.
