Bottle thanks to George. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head that lasts leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong whiskey, wood, and roast. Thick mouth, strong roast, bourbon, chocolate, toasted malt, vanilla, really enjoyed this one. alexsdad06 (10947) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - DEC 22, 2014
22oz bottle from notes. Pours a dark brown cola color with a small tan head (even with agitation). The aroma has dark roasted malts, light and dark chocolate, some coffee, wood, dark fruit with a mild to moderate Irish whiskey note. The flavor has roasted malts, light sweet dark fruits, a mix of chocolates, black coffee, wood, Irish whiskey with a slight hint of tobacco. Medium plus body and fairly smooth considering this does get a touch boozy at times.

Blindprovad. (Holmqvist bjuder). Fat är tydligt. Snyggt skum med drag år mörkbrunt. Choklad och väldigt bra balans. Härlig mousse och kropp. Elegant. bigda83 (879) - Jamestown, New York, USA - AUG 11, 2014
Pours black with no head or lacing for me. Aroma of chocolate, whiskey, and oak. Taste of chocolate, whiskey, wood, roasty, and hints of vanilla and caramel. Medium to full bodied and oily. An overall very solid stout. hopscotch (11311) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2014
Bottle... Pours pitch-black with a small, fleeting, beige head. The bouquet is a plush swirl of toasted nuts, roasted malts, pouch tobacco and mocha. Full-bodied and creamy with airy carbonation. The flavor furnishes cola, alcohol, dried plum, pouch tobacco and burnt, lightly bitter malts. Nicely balanced overall. Finishes boozy, singed and a touch rooty or herbal - I can’t decide. The barrel was not kind to the base beer, which I think is pretty awesome. Bottle provided by darkguardian! cubs (10721) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 19, 2014
Bottle @ Steve’s house. Thanks Armin! Pours a deep orangish brown appearance with a thin tan head. A bit chalky, dark chocolate, Oaty, caramel aroma. Kind of aggressive carbonation. Dark chocolate. Caramel, toffee, vanilla. A bit of cola. Solid but nothing special. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUL 19, 2014
