Aroma is little aged, coconut, brown sugars, hint of musty Bourbon. Flavour is composed of sugary, milky, brown sugars, milky, toasted coconut, . Palate is sweet, milky, moderate carbonation. 65cl bottle shared at the Hackobock tasting, Craft Islington. Many thanks to Theydon for this one. It pours a pitch black color with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet and chocolatey and boozy. Taste is big time sweet and boozy with chocolate vanilla and light roasted coffee. Full bodied with good carbonation. Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours deep brown with a foamy, beige head. Hearty dark malts in the nose, roast, chocolate. Emisum sweet flavour with moderate ash, dark berries, baking cocoa, ripe berries, hints of coffee. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Pours pitch black color with a very small head. Slightly oaty, dark roasty and chocolaty aroma, faint hops, coffee and lots of wood. Dark chocolate, cocoa and wood on the flavor, some hop notes, wood and dark malts. A bit straightforward, very good still.
650 ml bottle. Pours a pitch black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of roastiness, tart wood and raisins. Flavour of rich roastiness, some vanilla, tart wood, whiskey and raisins. Full bodied. Long, rich, roasty finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Quite soft, but somehow too straightforward. Great.

Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, whisky, wood, vanilla, oak, toffee and syrup. Taste is smooth, roasty and woody with loads of whisky, oak, hints of vanilla, toffee, syrup and chocolate. Finish is smooth, sweetish and woody with some stingy oak, vanilla, toffee, syrup and roastiness. Feels a bit more stingy than the regular BA Boris.

Aged bomber from a PUB’R member who got it from the brewery. Pours thick and rich deep black with 2-finger, dark brown head. Nose is heavy dark malts, oaky bourbon, cacao, molasses. 650ml bottle enjoyed @ home. Pours pitch black with a nice brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, whiskey, soy sauce, tar and vanilla. Flavour is medium sweet, light bitter and a little salty. 22 ounce bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, whiskey, and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, whiskey, chocolate, vanilla, and wood. Well balanced. Glad I found this in my cellar.
