Nose is rich roast malts, chocolate biscuit, light charring, subtle barrel woods, black pepper.
Taste comprises milk chocolate, subtle bourbon oaks, dark fruit rinds, toffee, light charr and roast, pinch of spice for balance.
Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, sweet warming close.

The aroma is rich roasted maltage, sweet, sticky, toffee, chocolate, millionaires shortbread and some whiskey. The taste is slick, sweet, sticky, chewy malt, boosty, alcohol warmth, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, wood and some toffee with a warming finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. Slick and rich. Aroma is whisky, molasses and coffee, some wet twig. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is rich coffee up front, alcoholic and woody, dry into the finish. Decent. Taste is big time sweet and boozy with chocolate vanilla and light roasted coffee. Full bodied with good carbonation. Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours deep brown with a foamy, beige head. Hearty dark malts in the nose, roast, chocolate. Emisum sweet flavour with moderate ash, dark berries, baking cocoa, ripe berries, hints of coffee. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish with more nicely rounded chocolate character, moderate roast, cocoa. Great stuff.
