Pours dark, thick, and has a chocolate colored foam head that dissipates leaving a simple ring around my glass. The aroma is of noticeable sweet whiskey, hints of corn, chocolate, medium vanilla intensity, toffee, some oak, subtle cinnamon spice, and an espresso roasted scent. Very complex and inviting. Tasting is smooth, some cream or milk sugar, and an amazing roast, tobacco, and bitter taste. There is notes of chocolate, mild whiskey intensity, sugary grains, butter, oats, and vanilla. The body is full but not as thick as expected from the poor. It’s an easy drinkable brew, and has a good warming finish. Overall a great brew and one to remember. mR_fr0g (13475) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2017
Bottle shared at Ratebeer awards show. 30/01/2016. Huge Thanks! A dark black / mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is sweeet praline, vanilla, oak, bourbon, spicy coffee bean. Smooth booze on the nose. Flavour is composed of smooth layered malts, sweet praline, oak and vanilla sweetness, tangy roast, and woody finish. Palate is full bodied, sticky, moderate carbonation. Really good. dnstone (3524) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - AUG 21, 2016
Roasty chocolately aroma with nice bourbon (vanilla, caramel, coconut) aromas. Poured a black color with nice tan head. Aromas carry through in the flavor; nice roasty highlights and the bourbon character is not too dominant.

Bottle. Poured a deep black with a frothy tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, wood, and bourbon. Flavor follows the nose perfectly and was insanely smooth and mellow. Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, and smooth finish to it. No alcohol noticed and this was amazing and easy-drinking.
