Bottle split at that legendary January 3rd 2014 tasting, aka the not to small tasting, big ole dankts to LK Smith for this bonus goodness. Mid black with a good dirty tan head that quickly dissipates to a pond and edgework. Nose is dark malts, sweet aromas, light roast, bourbon notes, toffee. Taste comprises rich brown sugars, dark toffee fudge, light roast, chocolate, subtle bourbon twang. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth feel. Solid BA impy, a really easy drinking affair for the ABV!

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2015 On tap at the tap room. A black beer with a small, tan head. The aroma has a nice bourbon touch, roasted malts, dark sugar, some coffee and dark chocolate and a hoppy touch. It’s full bodied, warm and smooth on the palate, with a nice booze touch and lots of roasted malt flavors. Dark sugar and chocolate and a nice bitterness. Lasting roasted and light boozy finish. Lovely. 150616
