It pours idea brown with a deep burnt orange head. The aroma has dark chocolate, licorice, bourbon barrel, and roast. It has a full body with mild carbonation. The taste has licorice, oak, heavy roast, astringency and harshness. It’s good, but fairly assaulting on the palate.

Black with an extra dark head. Roasted malt, Bourbon, cocoa, molasses, soy sauce, a bit of earth. Finish is roasted and hot booze. A bit thin. Solid but not quite what I was looking for.

ABUSEDGOAT (2711) - California, USA - MAY 3, 2017
Black pour with a tan head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, lightly roasted, whiskey smoke, lesser notes of dried fruit and soy. Full bodied, big, balanced. The whiskey barrel adds vanilla and light smoke flavors but the beer itself is still very much there - chocolate/roast/caramel/etc.

Aroma:
Heavy aroma of malts, caramel, wood, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, mocha, roasted malts and coffee.

Appearance:
Opaque black bee with a slight/medium dark brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, wood bourbon, vanilla, chocolate and mocha; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts and coffee.

Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Tastes like dark chocolate milk, holy shit. That bourbon added an insane flavour that the base beer somehow totally needed. I cannot wait till they make a rum variant of the doris. The aroma could have been better, but everything else is perfect.

Bomber from Tavour. Nose is vanilla, dark bitter chocolate, and oaky bourbon. Black with rusty brown edges and a tiny cinnamon tan head. Flavor is lightly bitter, lightly sweet, dark chocolate, with a little bit of bourbon from the medium thick body. Nice!

W aromacie bucha kokos, trochę również alko, ale przyjemne, szlachetne. W smaku bardzo gładko, pralinki, piernik, kokos również. Alkohol lekko bourbonowo grzeje. Gęste, oblepiające. Piwo wieczoru na panelu Hoppin’ Frog.
