Aroma is the usual suspects, nutmeg, cinnamon, all spice, pie crust, pumpkin, lighter caramel malts, barrel character and somewhat of a citrus acidity. Medium body with more spices and light pumpkin and a Kentucky Gentleman like whiskey finish. It’s alright.
Ambrata rossastra. Tanto whisky ma la birra base ha poca sostanza. Poca zucca. Spezie impercettibili. Ci si aspettava di più barrelagedluv (66) - Pittsburg, California, USA - OCT 29, 2017
Pours light into a snifter with a nominal head and a pleasant enough Brandy like hue. Taste is very thin for pumpkin beer, let alone a whiskey barrel aged ale. Decent spice up front, lithe and dossile on the back . I've been eagerly awaiting a rich, decadent pumpkin BBA. Unfortunately the wait continues... ABUSEDGOAT (2873) - California, USA - OCT 29, 2017
Clear amber color with a reddish tinge and a white head. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg, spice, light vanilla and barrel character, moderate alcohol, caramel. Medium to full body, spiced flavors dominate with minor but detectable barrel, some alcohol, somewhat sweet. cobaink2 (815) - seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 22, 2017
Bottle from tavour. Honestly tastes like a pumpkin beer should be. Amber color with holiday spices, 5 spice, soy sauce and brown sugar. Nice sugary aftertaste that I would say that was a negative on most other beers. Dorkenstein (564) - - AUG 9, 2017
Aged about one year. Aromas of vegetal pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, slight whiskey and caramel. Taste is roasted pumpkin, nutmeg, ginger, and cinnamon, mellow whiskey, marshmallow, and baked bread. Maybe I’ll try it again fresh to get some more of the whiskey.

A: Hazy amber.
T: Pumpkin, spicy, sweet, slightly malty.
An orange red and brown beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma is strongly spicy, ginger, cinnamon, sweetness of pumpkin and caramel, some barrel. Taste has more balanced spicyness, cinnamon and ginger, maltyness, some caramel and whiskeybarrel. Medium+ bodied. The strong spicyness is used to after a while, and then the balance is quite good. The barrel aging is propably given the strenght to overal impression. teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - MAY 26, 2016
