Bomber. Amber-brownish pour, small off-white head with not much retention. Nose is spice forward (lots of Cinnamon and Ginger), brown sugar, caramel, cedar, bourbon notes. Mouth is medium-full, kinda oily, sweet with a shitload of spice, caramel, toast, dried fruit, booze. Tastes like a gingerbread man who drank too much whiskey at grandma’s house after Thanksgiving dinner. Ringing in the holiday season. Ho,ho,ho.
Brown, no head, smells like fresh christmas cookies, and ginger bread. Taste is dominantly spices, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg. There are toasted malt notes hidden in there too, but it’s under all that spice. The spices are balanced, and though obvious, not too annoying for me. Carbonation is low. After taste has a slight warming from the spice, not very boozy at all for 8.6%. mR_fr0g (12067) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2015
Bottle thanks to Leighton. Aroma is huge cinammon, sweet, Christmas spices, little soapy, Yankee candle. Reddy copper coloured pour with a thin off white head. Flavour is sweet, nutty, caramel malts, Christmas cake, with big Christmas spices, cinnamon, ginger, mint. Flavours have rounded out nicely. Palate is full, sweet, viscous, warming alcohol. The couple years of age have done this bottle pretty well. Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - FEB 21, 2015
Clear brown colour, white head. Spicy aroma, caramel, vanilla, wood, brown sugar, malts. Sweet flavour, brown sugar, spices, cinnamon. Sweet finish, cinnamon, Christmas spices, bourbon, caramel.

(from 66cL bottle @ ZZT XI, Oirschot. Bedankt voor het delen, Dré & Angela!)
Bottle @ ZZT XI. Clear amber color, small off-white head. Smell and taste herbs, spices, cinnamon, sweet, lightly caramel, wood. Decent body and carbonation. Compared to the regular version this is way better. It’s drinkable. But it is a herb, spice mostly cinnamon bomb. ansjelaah (1748) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - FEB 21, 2015
Bottle @ Zzt’11. Brown color with a small head. Smells and tastes cinnamon, caramel. Nice. DutchDrebus (5981) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - FEB 21, 2015
Bottle @ ZZT11. Clear copper colour with a very small off-white head. Smells cinnamon, rooibos, herbs, spices, sweet. Tastes cinnamon, sweet. Medium to full body, soft carbo. zach8270 (4022) - Henrietta, New York, USA - JAN 10, 2015
(bottle - 22 oz - 2012 vintage) Dark copper pour with a thin white head. Huge spice and caramel aroma. Lots of caramel and a very mild spice in the flavor, and I was pretty sure I could detect some coconut hints in there as well. Big malt bomb with some light spice.
