Shared at pre-Borefts tasting, thanks for sharing everybody! Almost clear amber amber with light beige head. Caramel, cardboard, grape skins, lots of alcohol, vanilla, lots of twigs and green leaves. Medium sweet and strong bitter. Almost full bodied. Not my kind of beer. Benzai (16202) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - SEP 20, 2017
Bottle @ Pre-Borefts tasting. Red-brown color, small to average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, caramel, heavy caramel hop sweet stickyness. Taste malts, caramel, sticky sweet, bourbon. Over the top imo. The balance is gone, the texture is thinnish and carbonation is medium, but the ABV and barrel aging is too much for the base beer it seems. Over the top and unbalanced imo. Too bad, I had high hopes for this one. sjogro (4459) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - SEP 20, 2017

Bottle 650ml. Fruity, vanilla and delicate booze in aroma. Sweet, oily, vanilla, fruity in taste. Nice beer, really tasty bit I expected a little bit more. RRistow12 (918) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - AUG 28, 2017
Tasted from bottle. Pours pretty clear ruby brown with slightly off white head. Huge robust aroma of toffee, molasses, bourbon. Flavor is heavily sweet with flavors of toffee, caramel, molasses, brown sugar, nutty, bourbon. Very well done barleywine.

June 2017 - Bottle share at Leighton’s. Thanks Kenny! As ’Hoppin’ Frog Barrel Aged In-Ten-Sity’. Dark brown with a red hue, foamy light brown head. Aroma is boozy up front, toffee and caramel impressions. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is quite sweet and boozy, toffee, resin and spice, some chilli, white pepper and more booze, vanilla biscuits. Quite big and hot. But nice. (6-4-8-4-15=3.7)
