22 oz bottle purchase at One Stop Market about 2 months ago. Aroma shows roasted malts and an assertive amount of citrus hops I was not expecting. Bold. Flavor has a good amount of the Boris with the citrus/grapefruit bitterness coming through in the finish. The base is Boris for sure with the IPA lingering and giving balance. Not sure I would have blended these two beers together but the result is really nice. This brewery continues to put out a nice product. Stuu666 (14543) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 2, 2015

Roasty and grapefruity hop are the aromas that immediately come to my nose. Followed by chocolate & just a touch of toasty caramel. Flavor is well balanced overall, maybe just a bit too well. Although, a little IPA bitterness sneaks into the finish. Chocolatey & roasty flavors present in moderation, as is a light grapefruity hop, but it’s up front and doesn’t really last into the finish. Poured from a bomber. Pours a dark brown with a thin khaki colored head of foam. Aroma is fairly hoppy with fruity notes dominating a smooth malty oaty backbone. Taste is a lot like a black IPA in bitterness and roasty notes. Good malt body. Very nice. nearbeer (5557) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 17, 2014

Bottle sample at a He’Brew tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Very dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma of piney hops, slightly "green", roastiness and some chocolate. Bittersweet flavor, roasty, with chocolate, piney hops and a nice bitter finish. Rounded mouthfeel. A good one.
