Medium body, burned but also sweetish malt, with this mellow fruitiness reappearing before a rather bitter finish - bitter from both hops and malts. 070907 omhper (24963) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 20, 2008
Bottled. Really black, rocky head. Licorice, grapefruit and chocolate upfront. Medium sweet, aromatic and balanced. Solid bodied and well balanced with a lovely combo of grapefuit and licorice - hops and roastiness.
Finishes with long pleasant bitterness. A winner!

Very dark brown beer, light just passes through. Frothy caramel head. Light fresh palate. Fresh dark malt, a little lactose sweetness. Light chocolate and coffee. Minerally hops, not too bitter or fruity but a decent counterpoint to everything else. Finishes smooth with a little chocolate. Thought this would be bland but I was very pleasantly surprised. Fresh, well balanced and moorish.
