Mocno kawowy zarówno w aromacie jak i smaku. Piana gruba, która jednak szybko opada. Czarne i nieprzejrzyste. Odpowiednio palone, czekoladowo i kawowo. Odrobina kakao i wanilii również się pojawia. Bardzo pijalne jak na imperialnego stouta, alkohol ledwie wyczuwalny. Bardzo dobre piwo. Jokestereo (363) - SWEDEN - DEC 17, 2016

Medium/heavy aroma of malts, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, mocha, roasted malts and coffee.
Opaque black beer with a slight/medium brown/dark brown beer.
Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, vanilla, chocolate and mocha; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts and coffee.
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Great at everything. More daring than I expected, great roasted malt flavours. The head disappears quickly, but it still looks great and it benefits the aroma.
Shared bomber viscously poured to snifters, displaying a black/brown hue, a presentable layer of brownish tan head froth, and spots & strands of foamy lacing. The nose was highly roasted, cocoa, light woodiness & malt that combined to produce a subtle freezer burn scent, with hints of cookie/vanilla wafer. Full bodied, with soft carbonation, and light creaminess to the mouthfeel, the taste was somewhat similar, creating a nice blend with the addition of light, syrupy sweetness, and roasted & earthy bitterness. A dense, low tan head on a near black body. The nose is fresh ground coffee, cocoa and roasted malt. Well deserved high ratings. Taste profile features nicely roasted malt, coffee, milk chocolate, rich dark berries, toffee, a hint of vanilla and an underlay of citrus hops. Above average density and viscosity, probably from the oatmeal, Great blend, sustains well. A real keeper BlazerT (1112) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - NOV 3, 2016
Bottle 0,75 cl. Bottled 2012. Teku. Pitch black with small to medium, thick, light brown head. Poor head retention and average lacing. Pretty strong roasted malts aroma, fudge brownie, pure cocoa nibs, medium vanilla and lightly coffee and dark fruits notes - plums, raisins, also lightly molasses. Taste is medium bitter and medium-dry, both intensifies thru degustation. After beer becomes warmer you can feel something like roasted malts liquere based on cocoa nibs. I’ve opened the fresh organic cocoa balls form Caribbean and the nose is similar ;) Lightly booze notes are noticeable. Some rate this as semi-sweet, but I won’t agree - there is maltiness, which mainly comes from oats and that makes this beer potentially sweet. Full bodied, thick and oily texture, soft carbonation, finish is roasted, semi-dry with oats accents. Lightly ABV warming. In general above average RIS - roasted, based on oats with strong cocoa notes, but I don’t think it deserve note over 4.0 Why ? The ABV is noticeable in nose and palate, solid roastiness, nice cocoa notes, but that do not makes it extraordinary. Werckmeister (3188) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - OCT 22, 2016
0,66l bottle at a party from trade with lordrakos. Did not find a BB date. black colour, small coffee colored head. smells of licorice, light sherry, spices, earthy notes. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, oily mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, sherry, spices, earthy notes, some caramel, marzipan, nutty. finishes lightly dry with notes of licorice, marzipan and some sherry notes. good but expected a bit more, has some oxidation notes, so possibly could have been a bit fresher. overall still quite good. piwnepodroze (518) - POLAND - OCT 12, 2016
