Very nice aroma with hints of coffee. Pours an almost opaque black, with a quickly fading light tan head. The flavor is interesting, with coffee lingering in the back of the mouth with a touch of bittersweet chocolate. The coffee in this is much more subtle then in most other coffee infused beers. It’s light on the palate, with a long lingering coffee finish. This is an outstanding variation on the Silk Porter, and I’ll be picking up some more of this.
Tap at Brody’s Craft Beer Bar, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin light tan head. The aroma is dry roasty malt, dry coffee, some dark chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth dry malt, liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. orbit (344) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - NOV 24, 2017
Very clearly a coffee taste, but it’s not a strong porter, more a coffee bock imho. Not the cigar for this one, but not bad miles away fombe89 (4248) - Asturias, SPAIN - NOV 2, 2017

DØE medlemsmøde. Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel and fresh ground coffee beans. Dryish roasted flavour with chocolate and coffee. A little thin compared to stronger family members, but it’s got all the right Hoppin Frog goodness. onceblind (10905) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 6, 2017
Deep dark brown under a thin light beige head. Nice dark roasty nose with a little espresso and light cocoa. Smooth dark and cocoa’d flavor with a little roast and some coffee nuances. Not super dark or strong but has a nice smoothness about it. ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - JUL 20, 2017
