COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beware! Beware! The Double Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout will destroy your taste buds like no other. More hops and more malt than BORIS create a super deep roasted and full bodied flavor, making this the great, great grand daddy of all stout styles.

Uzupełnienie profilu notatki.
Piana niewielka drobna zbita beżowa. Kolor czarny.

Very old rating found on a loose page while cleaning, possibly from 2010. Notes are from a tasting, possibly RB gathering in Grand Rapids - Black pour with a tan head. Big roast malt aroma. Coffee. Chocolate. The intense flavor is full of roast malt. It's on the sweet side with chocolate and is mellow and smooth for such a big beer. Excellent.

Sweet fruity strong bourbon aroma, black coffee color with sliver of tan head, strong bourbon flavor with chocolate, coffee, and fruit. Very tasty stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Piana ciemna, ładnie zdobi szkło. W aromacie całe tony gorzkiej czekolady, ciasteczka owsiane, likier czekoladowy.

0,65l bottle from Beergium, shared, purchased in summer 2016. Pours pitch black color. Aroma of chocolate, sweetness, caramel, cocoa, roasted malts, vanilla, oa. Moderately bitter, oatmeal smooths up a bit, fullish body and gets slightly alcoholy, roasty aftertaste. Not as good as B.O.R.I.S., but still very good imperial stout.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2017 50cl @ tap in Wezze Krafta. Lovely dark colour with small beige head. Lovely aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, wood, plums, a touch of smokiness. Taste is heavy, chocolate, coffee, wood, a touch of vanilla. Unfortunately after a while a tons of alcohol come out. Sadly, this beer is good, but it's totally overpriced.

Czarne z nietrwałą pianą. W aromacie dużo gorzkiej czekolady, kawy, paloności. W smaku znowuż dużo czekolady, kawy, trochę mniej paloności, trochę jakby nawet owsianką dawało od tych płatków owsianych ;). Gładkie, wytrawne, ze świetnie zakamuflowanym alkoholem. Elegancki ris po prostu.

Bottle shared @King Arthur (Ciampino). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma color cappuccino media, abbastanza persistente. Al naso sentori di cioccolata, melassa, vaniglia, caffè, liquirizia. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, cioccolatosa, con finale leggermente caffettoso e amaro. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Ottima.

Lord in heaven, so...much...BORIS. Almost double the BORIS, you could say. Just a massive, massive imperial stout, endless amounts of deep roasted malt and chocolate and anise, all on top of a intensely bitter, lasting finish. Black cherry, currants, raisins, molasses, coffee and caramel all intertwine underneath the chunky, gooey front, while the back end grows almost viciously hoppy, pine and char refusing to yield against the sticky sweetness. Pours a viscous black, giving up an impressive dark brown head with moderate lace. Beautiful impy stout aroma, chocolate and licorice and a hint of booze. No alcohol in the texture, though; this beer's creamy as hell, without a touch of burn. Great beer.
