COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beware! Beware! The Double Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout will destroy your taste buds like no other. More hops and more malt than BORIS create a super deep roasted and full bodied flavor, making this the great, great grand daddy of all stout styles.

On tap at Pinocchio’s. Whoooooweee! Pours, dark, dark frothy head. Boozy chocolate aroma. Overload of chocolate, coffee and oatmeal. Sweet, balanced by coffee bitterness. Fantastic....really.

Very dark, almost opaque, shrinking light brown head. Creamy, lowish carb body. Starts like boozy fruit cake: big malts, dried fruits, alcohol bite. Then licqorice, soy, toffee, berries, chilli.

Sweet and chocolate on the front and bitter on the back. This has to be one my favorite stouts. Stand alone or a desert beer ... this one can do it all! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good imperial stout. It has something special. Not so alcoholic, chocolate, coffee, smooth, black. Its a beer to remember.

Pitch black, dark roasted head. Aroma of roasted coffee, chocolate, some vanilla. Same goes for the taste sensations but with a more noticeable booze character.

On tap at Alus celle in Riga. Nice big cap in dark brown. Dark cloudy appearance. Tastes thick and very balanced as bitterness fluctuates sweetness

Good Stout. Strong coffee flavor with a smooth finish, but doesn't quite have the complexity of a top notch Stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ciemna, nieduża piana, która dość szybko opada do firanki. Czarna, nieprzejrzysta barwa. W aromacie klasycznie - palone słody, kakao, kawa, likier karmelowy. W smaku półsłodkie, króluje gorzka czekolada i świeżo palona kawa, poza tym praliny, tytoń, na finiszu lukrecja, jagoda i rozgrzewający alkohol. Goryczka średnia do wysokiej, palona. W odbiorze dość szorstkie, popiołowe, nisko wysycone, wyklejające, z bardzo przyjemnym, pełnym, oleistym, dość gęstym body.
Klasyczny RIS, mocno palony, treściwy, bardziej słodki niż wytrawny, ale z solidną goryczką i ładnie ułożonym alkoholem. Brakuje mi tylko nieco intensywniejszego aromatu.

Shared bottle. Pitch black beer with small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, cocoa, light coffee and roasted malts, notes of molasses. Taste is medium to heavy sweet, medium+ bitter, dark chocolate, cocoa, notes of dried dark fruits, light coffee, licorice, roasty. Full body, oily, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Long chocolate finish. Slightly better than BORIS - really full, dense and tasty. Excellent.
