22oz bottle 10/7/17 (Courtesy of TerryR)-52° in English Pint-Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, pepper, chocolate, and coffee. Taste of the same with more chocolate, coffee, and pepper on the back end. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and it kicks butt. Dogbrick (14290) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 4, 2017
Sample during the "Hoppin’ On Deck 2" tasting on 06/04/2017. Opaque brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, bittersweet chocolate and earthy coffee. The finish is roasty with a dark chocolate and malt aftertaste. Bottle. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that was mostly lasting and produced excellent lacing. Moderate toasted malt, spice and alcohol aroma. Medium to abundant body with a dry smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted dark sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid brew and very good for style. AWISLguy (3419) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 11, 2017
650ml bottle from Beer Bazaar in Hainesville, cellar aged 2 months. Pours a very, very dark brown pour with a brown head into my Only Child funky glass, with bits of spotty lace. Aroma has big molasses, some toffee, light espresso, and some spices. Taste is of sweet molasses, roasted malt, light cocoa, a touch of roast and some pepper. Stronger than medium bodied with some alcohol. The blend is solid and the carbonation is soft. Finishes sweeter than bittersweet. Interesting, solid representation of style. Enjoyable. 13.6 Niko100 (3012) - Chicago, New York, USA - FEB 3, 2017

Bez większego rozpisywania - dobre piwo, bardziej w stronę śliwki, mocno czekoladowe, wytrawne. Brakowało ciała, ułożenia i gęstości. Aromat niezbyt intensywny, obrączka utrzymuje się do ostatniego łyka. Za tę cenę i po tym browarze spodziewałem się czegoś lepszego, ale jest ok.
