Bottle from tavour. I must say on first sip i thought something was wrong with this. There is maybe a bit more vegetable in this than needs to be. A bit of orange peel and Caramel. Probably won’t get this again. sturmthis (1195) - Bavaria, GERMANY - OCT 1, 2016
On tap. Amber color with one finger head. Flavor is very malty and this brings nice sweetness, earthiness, slight citrus. Pretty good. mambossa (338) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2016
Bomber. No born-on date. Murky red-gold pour with tight head. Nose of sweet malt, lemongrass, ripe pineapple washed in oozing nectarine syrup, citrus rind. Flavor is a nice balance of ripe blood orange, lemon, and apricot juiciness, earth and wood undertones, soft rind bitterness, hint of grass, twinge of stale yeastiness, fairly syrupy low-carb body. Slick and smooth. It’s a decent offering. Big malt and dense, bottom-end juicy hops. Ktwse (5464) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2016
Pours deep clear copper with a finger of white head. Aroma of resin, light toffee, grapefruit, caramel. Taste is sweet with caramel and toffee followed by a light resin bitter finish. Medium full body with soft carbonation. superspak (6015) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - DEC 11, 2015
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, Fall 2015 vintage bottling. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of citrus/tropical/grassy hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great stregnth. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/grassy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an excellent imperial pale ale style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/grassy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel, peach, mango and some grass. Taste is medium sweet caramel and fruits, medium bitter with grass and light pine notes. Medium bodied, light sticky texture, average carbonation.
Flarra.
Bomber courtesy of Desverger. Pours hazy pale amber with a small frothy offwhite head that leaves lots of spotty and sticky trace on the glass
while dissipating. Smell is fruity and malty with caramel, grapefruit juice, mango, peaches, pineapple, moist grass, pine needles and lemon
zest. Taste is sweet, bitter and fruity. Mouthfeel is round,a stringent and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with caramel, toffee,
grapefruit, mango, peaches, moist grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Caramel malts dominate and with the with age faded hops it becomes way
too caramel centered for me. JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - JUN 17, 2015
Small but persistent yellowish head over (cold)hazed foxy amber beer. End of bottle amass of truly frightening UFO’s. Liqueurish and hoppy aromas, fresh lupulin, citrus (orange/grapefruit), and (orange)cake, marmalade. Bitter, chestnuthsusk, very resiny flavour, less fruity or citrussy than the nose. Also too severe to be called liqueurish in the mouth. Wholemeal bread with hopspread? Dry resiny; rather well-bodied; obviously very slick. Not a pale ale, neither an American pale ale, not an India pale ale, not even an Imperial IPA, but an Imperial pale ale. This is getting complicated...
