COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Special hoppy flavors and aromas are captured by adding freshly picked, undried hops during the harvest. These wet hops impart a character unlike other brews, that is quite unique and satisfying for those who love hops – the spice of beer. Smell the hop fields, smell the freshness.

Bomber courtesy of Desverger. Pours hazy pale amber with a small frothy offwhite head that leaves lots of spotty and sticky trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and malty with caramel, grapefruit juice, mango, peaches, pineapple, moist grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, bitter and fruity. Mouthfeel is round,a stringent and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with caramel, toffee, grapefruit, mango, peaches, moist grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Caramel malts dominate and with the with age faded hops it becomes way too caramel centered for me.

Small but persistent yellowish head over (cold)hazed foxy amber beer. End of bottle amass of truly frightening UFO’s. Liqueurish and hoppy aromas, fresh lupulin, citrus (orange/grapefruit), and (orange)cake, marmalade. Bitter, chestnuthsusk, very resiny flavour, less fruity or citrussy than the nose. Also too severe to be called liqueurish in the mouth. Wholemeal bread with hopspread? Dry resiny; rather well-bodied; obviously very slick. Not a pale ale, neither an American pale ale, not an India pale ale, not even an Imperial IPA, but an Imperial pale ale. This is getting complicated...

A reddish copper colour, a head is almost medium and blond. Aroma has caramel malts, peaches, mandarin, some pine forest. Overally, the aroma is quite sweet but also fresh and not too heavy or caramel. Taste has citrusfruits and mandarin, also some harsh fruitness, less caramel malts than in the aroma but the body is still quite strong. At least medium bitterness, not dry, good balance. Medium+ bodied, quite fresh to drink. Quite unique flavours of fresh hops but there are also familiar notes.

Can split at the sleepy-rapping tasting at Ronny & Alex’s pad, CBC fine tuner, 30/04/15. Very lightly hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is caramel malt, grassy, light orange, spice, citric pith. Taste comprises mellow fruits, caramel malt, pine needle, light tropical fruits, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a moderate hop presence. Ok.

08-MAY-2015, bottle @home, from Fish & Beer. Almost clear orange/dark golden with lasting, lacing off-white head. Aroma is bitter hops. Grape fruit and pine. Taste is grape fruit and pine but also quite some malty with bread and caramel and a touch of fennel. "Old fashioned" style IPA with a lot of bitterness and cascade-like hops. It is sweet but never cloying. I like it but... ...no real but. Except the price tag. Way too expensive here.

Bottle. So what’s the point of this rather un-fresh fresh frog one might be tempted to ask? Well, it was there, wasn’t it. Pours dark golden orange, with a big creamy head. Aroma is massively sweet tropical hops, with pineapple and passion fruit, as well as herbs and floral notes, and malts with toffee and caramel. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet hoppy, with apricots and tropical notes, and roasted malts with bread and toffee, followed by citrusy bitter orange peel lasting throughout the finish. A bit old and rather off, but still shitloads of hops. Next time, it should be enjoyed straight from the hop vine.

Bottle. Hazy dark orange pour with some sediments and dense offwhite head. Aroma has flowers and tropical fruit. Taste has instant bitterness but then becomes more subtle. Nice malt profile behind the hoppyness. Full body and quite high carbonation
