Trade from FlandersNed. Probably past its prime? Cloudy orange brown. Strong orange citrus hops. Malt forward, with citrus hops, vegetal touch, but unfortunately some oxidation. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 12, 2014
Bottle from the tasting room. This frog was not so fresh. Decomposing from in a hot summer sun. Big oxidized hop aroma a flavors - wet cardboard. Really sweet and malty with a solid bitterness. Even if this was fresh it would be too caramelly for my liking DocLock (10702) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Bomber from a PUB’R capo directly from the brewery. Pours turbid deep copper with 2-finger frothy white head that laces all over the place. Nose is incredibly intense piney and resiny hops, a huge IBU load in this, with caramel malt, black pepper. Tastes dense on the palate, with a huge resiny hopload, caramel malt, and some black pepper and floral notes. This one is a hopheads dream, but may be too intense for others. hotstuff (5158) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 9, 2014
Rated on 4-27-2010 (Bottle) This beer’s appearance is a large fizzy off-white head that mostly diminishes, mostly transparent/slightly hazy orange golden tint body, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is carame malt, grass, pine, and citrus hops. The taste is sweet, lightly bitter, caramel malt, citrus, and pine hops. The palate is lively carbonation and this beer ranges in the light-medium bodied. Overall, this beer is not overly hoppy tasting for the style and suits me just fine since I am not a hophead. It is worth trying and a beer I would drink again. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Draft at the Hoppin Frog tasting room in Akron. 5oz pour. Golden amber color with a thick head. Aroma of orange, mango, pine and floral hops. Also a malty character hits the nose. The taste is bold citrus and pine flavors with a bitter finish. Well balanced with the malts. Slight oily with a medium overall body. Kind of a wet cut grass aroma on the finish. Bitter also.

Thanks to errl for sharing this bottle. Copper pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor have some strong tropical fruit and pine notes as well as some biscuit malt and a low to medium amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Bomber thanks to JStax! Pours a cloudy dark copper with a small foamy head that fades to a ring. Aroma is sweet, juicy fruit, mangoes, pineapple, oranges, and a touch of pine. Taste is sweet and juicy as expected. Fresh, oily hops mixed with a fairly thick caramel malt backbone. Big bitter finish with spicy hops and tea. Medium to thick body. A tad rough to drink but very good flavors. Art (3217) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 8, 2013
