Bottled 660ml @Beer Hunterscbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - APR 2, 2010
Copper-amber color, not much head. Hollow aroma has pumpkin, ginger and clove. Very sweet, thin palate. Flavor is similar to nose: pumpkin, ginger, clove. Feels much like sweet 4% ginger ale, not a 8%+ beer. Probably the worst Hoppin Frog I’ve had.
22 oz. bottle via trade with Brigadier - Pours a clear copper color with a small, short lived, off white head. No lacing. Aroma is bigtime spice. Flavor is lightly sweetened malt and the fore mentioned spice. No unpleasant lingering aftertaste. Medium body. A nice Pumpkin beer. Thanks Nathan. stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - MAR 29, 2010
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, amber/orange beer with a weak offwhite head. The aroma is sweetness and spices with cinnamon and cloves. The flavor follows the nose closely. The palate is sweet and spices. Overall this beer has too much sweetness.
