Unbelievable... The smell is of cinnamon, the taste is spicy, sweet. Truly a wonderful thing. Be careful, the alcohol content is extremely high! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Omg this beer is amaze balls! It’s a Christmas dessert in a bottle. Bottle from Highland Ave. Package. Transparent brown with off white head. Smells of cinnamon and vanilla. Taste of cinnamon, sugar and vanilla. I loved it.

Aroma:Lots of Ginger, Cinnamon, Clove, vanilla, orange. French toast with Syrup. Appearance:Amber, no head, slightly thick and syrupy texture, like southern sweet tea. Not opaque. Taste:Cinnamon, and mulling spices in the foretaste. Slightly sour tang midtaste. Nutty aftertaste, maybe chestnuts. Palate:Very little carbonation. Nice creamyness, nice alcoholic warmth. Tingle from ginger. Overall:This is a fantastic Christmas ale, I taste it and am transported to the hottub in a gingerbread house.

Nice tawny color, tan head with great lacing. This screams holidays. Cinnamon, nutmeg, some rhubarb notes that remind me of a pie, big bold malt notes as well. This brew is awesome.

I’m not a Christmas ale fan, however this beer is fabulous. I love the cinnamon flavor and the fact that it goes down very smooth for a darker beer.

[Tasting glass draft @ Billie’s Bier Kafetaria] Dark brown amber, small tanned head. Nose is cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, Christmas cake, brown sugar, more spices, pumpkin spices, candy, sugar, more cloves, caramel sweet, amazing if you are really into these spices. Taste is extremely massive on cloves followed by nutmeg, Christmas cake, pumpkin spices, sugar, caramel, toffee, more cloves, cinnamon, sugar, candy, brown sugar, very faintly metallic. Amazing, reminiscent of a pumpkin spices beer in a way with the massive spices. Body is a bit too thin & fizzy keeping it from greatness for me. For sure a fan of this one. I may need the BA version of this one.

Pours red with thick, creamy head. smells sweet and spicy like cinnamon and cloves. Lots of malt and spices. Cinnamon, cloves, raisins. A lot like a gingerbread man! Sweet and spicy. Spicy finish.

Aroma is very nicely spicy. Very typical mouthfeel for an American style ale. I can't think of a better way to describe it than saying it tastes like Christmas. Solid every year.
