[email protected] 2nd ES/CS Beer Tasting. (thanks K.K.!). Reddish orange colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is quite much a Belgian tripel meeting toffee and American hops. Flavour is being similar, in a nice balanced. Hides the ABV really well, making this a pleasant and refreshing strong ABV beer.

omhper (25351) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 2, 2009
Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Clear amber, no head. Aroma of marzipan and glue. Sweet and grainy with lots of marzipan. Way too sweet. Very non-Belgian feel to it with it’s overpowering residual sweetness, yet alcohol clearly shines through. Ther are some pleasant flavours of orange and marzipan, but overall it’s more of a syrupy alcoholic golden strong ale than anything Belgian style.
