A solid dipa. Pours a burnt orange with a lot of sediment. Aromas are tropical fruit, corn syrup, and resin. Flavors are hoppy and sweet. It’s a big beer. Really good. andriesradu (702) - ROMANIA - AUG 31, 2014
Pours red/orange with a big white head. Sweet, caramel, fruity aroma. Flavor is sweet in the begining followed by a strong, very strong and long bitterness with notes of pine hops, alchool, some yeast and a unknown but very familiar flavor which is quite strong. Flot mørkgylden øl med god og 'usprittet' duft. Langvarig, skarp og dejlig humlet eftersmag. [APK: 6.63] JakobHoumoller (24) - DENMARK - JUL 15, 2014
Bottle. Hazy light amber appearance. The aroma has notes of caramel, resin, pine and grapefruit and orange zest. The taste is in initially caramel but then finishes with a huge resiny piny hop hit. I feel like I’m being slapped on the tongue with a pine branch soaked in mango juice. Nice! Leaves a huge lingering bitterness. blazin_buddy (8) - - JUN 20, 2014 does not count
Nice flavor and presentation. Good carbonation and clarity of a bright rusty orange color. Great taste and mouthfeel.

651 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained, tiny bubbled, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a clear dark amber (SRM 15) body.....nose is pine, resin, grapefruit peel, light toasted malts with cereal, no esters, balance to the hops....taste is sweet with toffee/caramel notes to start, then pine, resin, lighter citrus, floral notes, then heavy lingering bitter tones, no esters, balance very much to the hops.....mouth feel, heavy of medium body, slightly sticky, alcohol warmth present, moderately astringent, carbonation creates a creamy mouthful. The hops are in ascendancy in this beer, and there is only moderate malts to respond. It is difficult to balance beers such as this because the malts become almost toxically sweet as they are amped up. (Taste Dogfish Head 120 minute.) As it warms the malts arrive somewhat more and create more balance. It will be interesting to see if the Triple IPA becomes a separate style. Pours hazy amber with a sandy head. The aroma is perfumey pungent and sweet hops. The flavor brings a boatload of hops covering any resemblance of malts at first, then sweet malts and amber, and then huge hop bitterness and sweetness blended at the end. Pours cloudy dark orange amber with low off-white head. Aroma of resin, grapefruit, mango, peach, pine cones, light caramel and vanilla, a seriously rich and potent nose! Taste is hop intense bitter, slightly medicinal, with long heavy bitter finish. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Looks and smells great, taste is actually the weak link with this one. Hazy amber/orange color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of caramel malt, toffee, pine hops, & fruit; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel/toffee, pine hops, fruit, and citrus; Finish is fairly bitter; A tad cloying - but definitely worth a try. angel77 (3867) - oviedo, SPAIN - MAY 23, 2014
