Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is your typical IPA citrus and pine, however this has an added yeast smell. Flavor is sweet, hoppy, and yeasty all at the same time, a wonderful combination. Very enjoyable and quite easy to drink! Westchesterco (2207) - mclean, Virginia, USA - MAR 3, 2013

Cask. Pours amber with a small short lived head. Aroma is very hippy but not dominating. Sugars still come through the aroma. Taste is pleasant hippy with abbey still coming through. Nice spice and yeast flavours. ben4321 (6772) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 8, 2013

Aroma: The nose is Belgian yeast and spice, with caramel malts, fruity hops, and a little grass
Appearance: A clear, bright orange colored beer with a very thin head and some light, drippy lace
Flavor: The flavor of this one is much like the nose, it is yeasty, spicy, malty, fruity, and hoppy
Palate: The body is medium, it has a little too much carbonation, some stickiness, and a dryish finish
This one works pretty well. Neither the Belgian yeast/spice or the fruity/grassy hops really dominates like you often find in these Belgian hybrid IPAs. Overall, I thought the combination worked quite nicely here.
Pours clear (until yeast) orange with a small white head. Smells of subtle citrus with some solid yeasty bread notes. Taste is bitter initially and then moves to a sweeter malt profile. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and average mouth-carbonation, Hoppin’ Frog Hop Master’s Abbey Belgian-style Double IPA finishes with a slight bitter tickle.
