Bottled 0,66 ltr at Beer Hunters yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 11, 2010
Almost room temperature.
Clear amber color, good creamy off-white head. Hoppy nose: pine wood, pineapple, mango, yeast, pleasant nose. Medium-bodied. Softly hoppy, piney, a bit fruity flavor. Pleasant, more or less standard well-brewed IPA. Not overly hoppy or too alcoholic.
Bottle, 22oz, at RBNAG -09. It’s a hazy, orange-golden beer with a dense, off-white head leaving lacings. Apricot, grapefruit, generic tropical fruits, a faint note of pepper, and malty sweetness on the nose. Sweet flavor with lots of pinecones and tropical fruits. Malty-sweet with a touch of pepper. Fine, intense bitterness towards the lasting finish. Full-bodied, almost astringently bitter. A lovely beer, probably cellared a bit too long, but the hops still shine. 091107 Benzai (16924) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 11, 2015
Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear orange to amber color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, a bit grassy. Taste malts, hops, a light hint of caramel, grapefruit, fruity, bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Yup, very nice! Dedollewaitor (16545) - Odense, DENMARK - SEP 23, 2008
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a white head & lacings. Very hoppy nose. Tropical fruity hops. Mango & peach. Very dry & grassy. Power bitter hopped. Good creamy & medium filling mouthfeel. Nice IPA! Scopey (16274) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2012
Tap at Craft Beer Co. It pours hazy amber, with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is orange, citrus pith, sweaty sock and salt. The taste is tangy citrus, orange squash, grapefruit, marmalade, resin, straw, salt and hay, with a decent bitter finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Easy drinking and enjoyable IPA.

Bottle from Beer Geek. Slightly hazy copper color with a decent fine white head. Fruity citrus over lightly roasted malt. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is very malty, though not sweet, with a lot of floral hop. Finishes a bit astringent with some decent bitter. Not getting citrus, but it sure is something hop. Grapefruit overridden by roasted malt? Starting to seem that way. Borup (15943) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2013
Sample at CBC 2013.
