Clear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, tart fruit, malt sweet, sugar, honey, light spicy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, frutiy, sweet malt - honey. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Lightly hazy deep red - amber - brown beer. Tidy cream coloured head. Smooth palate, slightly soft. Fine carbonation. Strong malt with a touch of cream. Marmite. Subtle dried fruits and a little spice. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Nowt wrong with this but I found it a bit chewy, just a bit too Bocky!

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Day 2, Session 2. Pours clear ruby with a mild, white cream head. Sweet toasty bread on the nose with notes of dried berries. Big sweet flavor with sugary, semi-dark malts, ripe berries, grapes and brown sugar. Full bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Warming finish with sticky sugars and more ripened berries. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone, die aber schnell verschwindet. Geruch sehr malzig, fruchtig süß, alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr süß malzig, überreife Früchte, alkoholisch. Starker und süßer Doppelbock.
