COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Set forth to become the conqueror of extremely special and rare Spanish brandy barrels that were captured by our crew, El Frogquistador was conceived. It had to be prepared for battle, yet lively and agile enough to conquer all this delicious, complex and memorable goodness.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 26 Feb 2017) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, slightly sourish nose with notes of tropical fruit, oak wood and a slight tannic acidity. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, pineapple, oak wood, citrus, marzipan and a mild bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Wouldn’t call it balanced, with lots of oak and some alcohol. But tasty and quite nice.

Barwa bardzo jasna jak na styl. W aromacie mocno uderza brandy, lekko i przyjemnie drażni, poza tym wanilia i o dziwo mango. W smaku rodzynki i figi, dosyć delikatny smak. Genialny orzechowy aftertaste.

BEER TEMPLE Amsterdam. 0,25/9,75. Fass.

Tap @ Beer Temple. Golden color, light hazy. White head, not much. Aroma’s: sweetish, candies, light boozy. Retronasal it’s sweetish, wood, boozy (sherry? cognac?), a bit drop. Flavor is moderate sweet, light vinous, sourish. Rather strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Short finish. Quite nice.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, peach, honey and vanilla. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of honey, peach, vanilla, oak and a touch of grapes, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, sweetish, slightly warming-alcoholic finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Very interesting, never tried something like this before.

Draft at the Taphouse, Copenhagen, Denmark. Cloudy golden color with a small white head. Brandy and port wine in the aroma... and nothing else. Well sweetness and apples. I happen to love port wine so the aroma is divine. The flavor is quite the same but a bit thinner. Really enjoyable. All port lovers, this is the thing. Apples. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle purchased at Hoppin’ Frog several months ago and finally cracked. Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, citrus and brandy. Malty and caramelly flavor with orange accents before a sweet brandy finish. Pretty complex.
