Bottled. Quite much pitch black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is berries, quite smoked wooden, mild notes of sour wood and some slight toffeeish notes. Flavour is rather much the same along with a rather ashy finish.

Had to go to Norway to find this one! Bottle at Cardinal. Very dark brown, thick light brown head. Aroma of slightly boozy milk chocolate. Taste is dilute coffee. Light body. OK.

22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! Clear dark brown beer. Little tan head. Light soft palate, a little silky. Chocolatey malt with a little minerals. Light and fresh. Very very drinkable.
