Purply-brown colour. Syrupy and not much else. Blackberry, chocolate...boring...ultra sweet. Argh - fruit beer does not inherently have to such, but the brewer needs to make an effort. jtclockwork (17284) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 20, 2016
Draft - pours dark brown - nose/taste of raspberry, light cocoa and fruity malt - med body Ferris (16505) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 14, 2016
Draft - Very sweet Berry. Clear dark Amber with a decent beige head. Sweet Berry, liquorice and more Berry. A bit too sweet for me. Tmoney99 (14973) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 14, 2009
Bottle from Jungle Jim’s.
Poured clear reddish brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate dark berry aroma. Medium body with a thin smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium fruity sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Drinkable soft beer, but only worth having once. Dogbrick (13777) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 18, 2010
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2010 Very last bottle from Erik’s Grocery Bag in North Canton. Pours a dark mahogany-brown with a thin off-white head that disappears fairly fast except for an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of dark fruits and malt. Medium body with a raspberry character and notes of sweet malt and hops. The finish is very berry. Decent overall.

Weird ass beer. Tastes like an amber mixed with berry kool aid. Simple as that. I wouldn’t recommend this one. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 5, 2008
Bottle... GIABMISGFAB... Amber ale with a slight haze and a small, creamy, lightly tanned head. Smells like Fruity Pebbles®. Medium-bodied with a whole milk mouthfeel. Syrupy sweet, cotton candy flavor. Finishes sweet and grassy. What the heck were these guys thinking? This one would do really well if legal drinking age was like 7 years old. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 1, 2008
1st post!!!111 Pours a dark brown much like a porter, no purple or red coloring from what I can tell. Nose is pretty nice: perfumy, semi-tart blackberries, but it develops over time into more of a plasticy medicinal aroma, somewhat sharp. Flavor is overly sweet, candied all-purpose mixed berry flavoring, body is a bit thin and light, and the perfume and cream flavored plastic berriness comes through way too strong in the finish. It’s not a terrible beer, but it gets uncomfortable to drink at times. The texture resembles flour, a bit gritty, a bit chewy. Not really that good, overall. I think they can do better, but it was still a fun one to try. JaBier (8253) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - APR 4, 2011
Old rating. Darkest brown pour with a medium beige head. Aroma of raspberries and roasted malt. Silky chocolate character with not so subtle raspberry character before a roasty finish.

Bomber, thanks to Nathan, I believe. Poured clear cola brown with a short-lived cap of beige head. The aroma picked up sweet darker berries, cola, and some caramel with vanilla and earthy overtones.. candied overall, and not all that bad. The flavor had toasted caramel and the same berries as the nose, with cocoa and cola coming through on the edges.. sweet chocolate-covered berry finish.. a little medicinal. Light-bodied with scratchy carbonation on the palate.. the dark malts did some good things in here, and I’d consider drinking another (not today, but at some point).
