COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing IPAs is the perfect combination of art and science - the ones that do it best balance both perfectly. That takes a lot of imagination and experimentation, which is where our Teeny Tiny Test Batch IPAs were developed. Now we have the absolute finest American hops from the actual crops that we selected and are having great success testing their qualities at our brewery. And when we create one of these great IPA recipes, we plan to take it from 10 gallons to 10 barrels, and share it with the world!!

Hops featured each batch can be determined by the cap color on the bottle. Teeny Tiny Test Batch No. 2 features MOTUEKA hops and a brown cap.

Barwa pomaranczowa, piwo rownomiernie zmetnione. Piana wpadajaca w beż, drobno i sredniopecherzykowa, obfita, solidny lacing.
Aromat niespotykany, cytrusy w postaci pomaranczy i mandarynek polaczone z lekkim mentolem. Do tego grejpfrut delikatna żywica. W smaku jest podobnie jak w aromacie z tym, ze jest karmelowa slodowosc i fajna, intensywna i krotka cytrusowo-zywiczna goryczka.

Idiosynkrasie (8041) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - DEC 30, 2016
650ml bottle. Murky amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Grassy-spicy and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of fresh hay, hints of lemon, lime, woodruff, mint, a touch of pear and basil. Taste is dry and bitter hoppy, grassy-spicy and minimally herbal, notes of fresh hay, woodruff, mint, hints of lime and lemon, a touch of pear and basil; slightly neutral, pale malty basis warrants enough body for full hop display.

Lore (2919) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 15, 2016
very hazy orange colour, minimal off-white head; aroma of tropical fruits, kiwi, grapefruit, maybe some tangerine, too, orange, caramel biscuit and resiny notes; bittersweet taste with intensive fruitiness (tropical fruits, grapefruit and some tangerine), orange zest, pine resin, fresh cut grass, maybe some honey and biscuity-caramel notes; lovely IPA! definitely underrated

65 cl bottle. Brown cap.

IPA rating #1000.

Pours murky golden color with a large off-white head. Hops and pine on the nose, caramel and malts, orange and subtle herbalness. Flavor is citric fruity, orange mostly, caramel and pineapple sweetness, herbal spiciness, strong bitterness, subtle grape fruits and blood orange. Lingering citric bitterness on the aftertaste. Decent IPA but slightly disappointing, Motueka is not my favorite hop variety either.

Bottle to pint glass. Aroma is pleasant but odd - I get orange, bourbon barrel and a little cardboard. Since this is volume 2, maybe the bottle is a little dated. Pours hazy orange with off-white head that leaves a heavy collar. Taste is orange marmalade and caramel. Slight pine and a nice fruity finish. Interesting.

MelvinKalksma (1758) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 19, 2016

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, pine, kiwi, tea, hops and citrus.

Appearance:
Opaque golden/amber beer with a slight/medium off-white/beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, orange, pine and kiwi; ends slightly bitter and dry with tea, hops and citrus.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. The aroma could have been stronger; the appearance is amazingly opaque with a lasting head; the taste manages to be great despite being a weird mix of occurring flavours; and the palate could have been thicker. A good beer overall, but really weird at the same time.

Fat på CBC-2016. Smak och doft av humle, malt, aprikos, persika, grapefrukt med toner av honung och citrusskal. Något murrig, fruktig, lagom sötma, beska med smak av grapefrukt och citrusskal.
