22 ounce bottle into weizen glass, no bottle dating. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon, banana, pear, apple, bubblegum, clove, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, banana, pear, apple, bubblegum, clove, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate yeast spiciness and slight bready tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, banana, pear, apple, bubblegum, clove, wheat, bread, light honey, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy, bready, and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice hefeweizen style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Banana, light clove and wheat malt aroma. Yellow-brown with small head. Sweet banana, clove, cardboard, and wheat malt flavor. Medium body. Need to try this again - this wasn’t very fresh.

Bottle: Clear, dark amber-gold with a thick, off-white head. Bready, caramel, banana scent. Taste is sweet, wheat, banana-bread. Clove, very malty....toffee... Almost a nutty, buttered quality to it. Different, tasty, though a bit on the sweet side.

YigSvartka (304) - Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 12, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2014 Translucent yellow-orange with a nice large head. Citrusy and robust scent of yeast. Lots of carbonation, light and refreshing, but lacking on flavour. Yeast and perhaps a bit of banana bubblegum present, but not much else. Slighter bitter finish. Tastes more akin to a lager. Their porters are much better.

Botella de 65 cl en el lupulo. 6 vol. 14-12-13 cuerpo ligero con sabor a cereales y trigo suave y ligero. Cambia bastante su sabor y color al echarle los posos finales de la botella, pasando de amarillo a miel turbio ganando más sabor a cereal y densidad. Poco Amargor. Se bebe bien. Normal
