UPDATED: SEP 17, 2012 Pours pitch black with small dark brown fizz. Smells roasted, chocolate, coffee, and hints of whiskey vanilla. Taste is whiskey sweet, chocolate, a touch of roast, and coffee. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Hoppin’ Frog Barrel Aged B.O.R.I.S. Bottle shared with northropfrye. Rich buttery aroma, notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Thick black appearance with latte coloured head. I can taste the whiskey, which melds beautifully with the rich coffee and chocolate flavours. I love this beer! Done.
