22 ounce bottle poured into a teku. The beer is a dark brown to black with a khaki head of foam. The aroma is roasty with big notes of chocolate, raisin, and caramel, big boozy sweetness. Earthy and toasty. Big body and moderate carbonation. An overall delicious beer. Glad this was my 500th Imperial Stout.

Bottle, thanks Eddan. Black with a tan head. Aroma and taste of dark malt, dried fruit, chocolate, some oak and whiskey. Smooth and nicely drinkable with a long finish. Very nice.

@Basunen 17-7-21: oh så fantastisk gott med tydlig ton av fat och torkat frukt (framför allt russin). Mycket len och trevlig.

L42 Bottleshare. Opaque black - brown beer, good dark tan head. Palate is smooth and airy, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy dark malts, rich dark chocolate. Mild vanilla. Tangy dark fruits. Fruity chocolately finish. Nice but I think my filthy cold is blocking some subtleties here!

Aromat: niesamowicie przyjemny i intensywny, niesie ze sobą całą masę wrażeń. Jest mocna whiskey, dobrze wkomponowana w aromat, nie zagłusza reszty. Dalej dużo dobrej czekolady deserowej. praliny, kakao, suszone figi i daktyle, troszkę kawy i nut palonych. Super aromat. Dalej czekolada mleczna i gorzka, praliny, kawa, sporo słodów palonych, dosyć mocna gorycz, piwo fajnie zbalansowane. Są tu jeszcze wisienki w czekoladzie, kakao. Świetny balans i kompozycja, doskonale ułożone, wchodzi lekko mimo swej mocy, pijalne. Ciała sporo, wysycenie niskie, na finiszu gorzka czekolada. Dosyć agresywne, intensywne i z charakterem, a zarazem przyjemne i wykwintne. Świetne piwo, przepyszne. 9/5/9/4/17

Bomber shared by Bvery, thanks buddy! Motor oil pour again, strong whiskey, bitter malts. Taste is boozy, bitter. Not bad but not quite my thing.

Bottle. Super dark dense oily pour with a brown head. Dark roasty malts, hotter than Rocky Mountain BORIS, still terrific. Rich and decadent.

May 2017 - Bottle share at One Canada Square. Big, big thanks to Kenny! As ’Hoppin’ Frog Rocky Mountain DORIS’. Opaque black, foamy dark brown head leaves thick lacing. Aroma is toffee, oxidised, booze, vanilla and chocolate. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is molasses, whisky, vanilla and chocolate, spicy abrasive finish. Quite nice. (7-4-8-4-16=3.9)
