Amber, clear topped by a solid off-white head that is mostly lasting. Sweet and yeasty upfront, presenting meringue and pomegranate notes. Hard to pick up spices that are actually not all that upfront, possibly ginger and nutmeg, not quite the exotic spices I was expecting from the commercial description. They leave a slightly biting sensation as the pie-like yeastiness fades with a watery sensation. Light bodied, fair carbonation. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 15, 2012
22oz. Bottle: Aroma of malt, slight hops, and light spices. Poured orange in color with a small, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Some medium-sized particles throughout. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of malt, spices, and some bittering hops. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, spice, hop finish is lightly sweet and medium bitter. 7.8%ABV is completely hidden throughout. krumbum (1109) - truckee, California, USA - MAR 18, 2014
Cloudy deep amber color. Smells like a fruit cake. It has a smooth spiced flavor and leaves a light coating of it behind.

GABF 2005: Clear light coppery hue with a good head and some lace. The aroma is spicy and piney with notes of caradmom, nutmeg, belgian yeast and sugar. The taste has a big spicy bite and a hoppy character as well. I got cinnamom in the flavor I didn’t find on the nose. The aftertaste and feel is a bit bready, chalky and short. An okay beer, different and some will enjoy the spice blend. dwyerpg (6410) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - NOV 15, 2006
Smells great, nutmeg and pumpking. Very strong aroma. Taste is like the smell, it actually seems to have quite a bit of pumpking. It’s not really that good though. Dry throughout, it’s just too much spices.

Pours copper and hazy with fluufy off white head, and some spotty lacing. Pumpkin spice aroma. Pumpkin, hops, and nutmeg. clove on the finish Dfonorow (2274) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Orange/red with a finger-wide white head. Aroma of grapefruit, apple juice, nutmeg., and cinnamon. Flavor is sharp on the spices at first, but transitions into a hoppy fruit finish. Spice lingers in the aftertaste. rosenbergh (11799) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 30, 2015

Dark cloudy amber colour with a small off-white head.
Spices... nutmeg, cinnamon and some other christmassy spices and some sweet maltiness in the aroma. A bit harsh bitterness, sweet maltiness and a lot of spices. I really don’t know how old is this bottle but it seems to be very christmassy and drinkable. Merry Christmas!
Clove-like nose with some fruitiness. Spicy flavor with some malty sweetness. Alas, a burnt toffee bitterness and a harsh bitter aftertaste spoils this beer for me. jazz88 (2699) - San Francisco, California, USA - NOV 20, 2006
Bottle. A reddish brown clear color with a foamy off-white head. A spiced (ginger, candy, pepper) hoppy malt aroma that finishes with a vegetable grainy, malt and caramel flavor.
