Draft. Dark brown, headless. Aroma of subtle chocolate. Taste us watery chocolate. omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2005
Draught at the Pembroke Pines, FL location. Very dark brown. Roasty coffee aroma. Medium dry with clean hard mouthfeel. Fairly hoppy and grapefruity with long salty finish. The flavours are all there, but the malt profile/mouthfeel is hard and lifeless. fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 1, 2003
Dark amber color. Pretty nice hop and roasted malt aroma. Good body, malty, roasty, hoppy (maybe just a bit acid). Equilibrated final, with roasted barley and bitterness. Oakes (18794) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 10, 2008
Light brown colour. Light chewy toffee nose with a hint of raisin. Palate is Dunkin Donuts coffee and light raisin bread. This one is pretty bad. Ratman197 (15354) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 15, 2011

Draft sampler at the brewpub in Sanford, FL. Poured a clear dark brown color with a medium white fizzy head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium toasted malty aroma. Medium body. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 25, 2002
Faint roasted aroma and a slightly roasted taste. You get the feeling that there's a good beer trying hard to get out, but what you're left with is fairly disappointing. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 2, 2012
Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark reddish brown color with a large creamy tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of roasted malts and a bitter hop finish. The taste is chocolate, nuts, roasted malts and faint hops. Thin bodied, just like all their beers. The best of the 6 I tried, but that’s not saying much. I had to bury my nose deep to get the aroma, and this ale was a little more carbonated than I thought it should be, but it had a great finish and was easy to drink. Definitely their best offering, unless the Lumberjack Oatmeal Stout is in season. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 12, 2005
On tap at the Bradenton location. Poured a medium to dark mahogany color with a small head. Caramel and lighter chocolate in the aroma. Stronger chocolate and some roasted malts in the taste.
