Tap @ Hops & Barley Berlin.

Strong malt aroma character. Some caramel scents.

Pours clear copper with an off white head that leaves some lacing.

Taste is very malty with a noticeable caramel punch, mid sweet with short yet crude bitterness in the finish

Mid light bodied.

Overall a very nice and drinkable beer.

Tap at the brewpub, Berlin. Labeled as ’Winterbock’. Pours a slightly cloudy, charming amber-red with a fine, white head. Ripe berries, mild toffee and deep malts in the aroma. Very sweet flavor but not cloying, with sweet bread, toffee, ripe fruits, faint leaves. Medium to full bodied with fine but creamy and filling carbonation. Great mouthfeel and balance. Mild warmth on the finish, with more restrained toffee than before, lightly toasted sugars, some plum and jammy fruits. A really delicious and exceptionally well-made beer.
