4 oz pour on draft at Hops in Alexandria, VA. Clear straw yellow with off-white head. Bland aroma. Tastes of malt, light citrus. Light body with a dry finish.

Standard light watery pale lager aroma and smell. Very very generic, but to its credit, lacking the skunk factor of some mass protests diced swill.

Tap. Pours clear straw, small white head, some lacing. Aroma is light, grainy, lemon. Flavor is oddly sweet, lemon lime, grains, very light bitterness. Light body, soda like carbonation. Is this a shandy??

So begins a lovely week of lagers. Waiting around outside Reagan for a flight that doesn?t leave to Honduras for a while. Golden, crisp. This is not terrible for a light Mcbeer. Tap at Alexandria brewpub.

Draft Flight 9/1/03 (FLL)-Pours a clear golden with a small head. Aroma of corn and sweetness. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew was not too good.

About 4 oz. served into a tasting glass. From notes. A: Pours a pale straw color with only a small white film. No real lacing, as expected. S: Almost nonexistent. Theres a touch of corn sweetness, and MAYBE some crackery malts...thats it. Inoffensive, at the very least. T: The flavor - though minute - actually isnt bad. A bit of mild graininess to start, only to finish with faint lemony hops. As a light lager, its actually a success - it lacks the sickly sweetness most of its BMC brethren have, due to its hop presence. Still, it IS a light lager, which means its boring. M: Very crisp, light, and easy to drink. This is pretty much how a light lager should drink. O: For a light lager, this is actually pretty great. Key words being "for a light lager". Its still really bland and lacking in flavor compared to even an average pilsner. If you absolutely must have this style, this would probably be the one to seek out.

This beer screams generic. Drink this instead of your water. No head, no aroma, no flavor worth mentioning.

Man, this is one of the palest beers I have ever seen. Mind numbing. Metallic and grainy. Kind of assy if that makes sense. Very light body with no hop character.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized creamy white head. Poor head retention. Almost no aroma... a faint bit of grass. The taste is almost pure grassy hops with a faint sweetness. Thin bodied.

On tap in Matthews nc, watery, slightly sour notes, grainy and astringent, blah.
