On draught at the Draught House. Rich malty brown.color with.a.little.white head. Toasted malty aroma. The wine barrel aging struggles to compete with all the rich brown malt in this beer. Its’s overall toasted. A lot of toasty toastedness everywhere. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUL 22, 2012
On tap at the Draught House.
The beer pours an orange to dark amber color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of grainy notes, as well as some light oak-aged notes. The flavor is considerably more oaky, but the grain and biscuit notes still come through quite strongly. The beer is very malty and the alcohol is well hidden. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
