Pours hazy orange with short lived off white head. Smell is honey grains and fruity with orange notes. Taste is nicely fruity and bittered. Smooth and soft to medium carbonation. Pretty tasty and easy drinking pale ale. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Can:   Amber, fairly clear, little carbonation, thin frothy sandy head, spotty lacing.   Soft hop nose, a little earthy/grainy.   Very pale hops on the tongue, a bit of grainy astringency on the backside.   Seems more of a hoppy amber than a pale ale.   Even then, its not sweet enough to be an Amber.   Certainly not hopped up enough for me to be a pale ale.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes very middle of the road.   Not bad, but not much of a Pale Ale in my book.   Thanks Bill! Can thanks to Mar. Pours hazy light amber with off-white head. Aroma of pine, earth and malt. Flavor much the same with a pleasant, balanced sweetness and bitterness. Light-medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. Overall, not bad! thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 2, 2012
(Draught) clear gold, effervescent body, wispy fine white bubbles. Nose of orange zest, cracker and light butter. Taste is very buttery, earthy hops, dirt, herbal and well carbonated, but way too earthy and buttery, even in the finish. mar (5434) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 9, 2012
can thanks to mora2000. amber/orange with a cream head. nose is rich piney hops, citrus, and smooth florals. light on the palate, caramel malts, rich pine, reminds me of pine belt.

On tap at the Whip In.
The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma has a ton of orange citrus notes, with a little bit of biscuit malt. The flavor is similar at first, but there are also some odd notes. I get some orange notes, but there is also a dirty character which makes the beer a bit difficult to drink. There is a decent amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. quite surprised to this only in the 46th percentile for style, i really enjoyed this! .. . pours a deep tan brown .. great foam .. . crisp bitterness, very refreshing and full for a pale .. . nice hop combo .. . i’d buy this again .. . . A spider crawled onto my keyboard.... But Don’t Worry, It’s under Ctrl. Nautone (7) - Austin, - JUN 23, 2012 does not count
Appearance: pours from the can with a large, creamy head that hangs around for a few minutes, leaving behind healthy lacing. The beer is a barely-cloudy light copper with a little carbonation.
Aroma: not a ton there, but a bit of pine comes up.
Taste: great, great stuff! Of course, this isn't Pliny or anything, but this is basically my Platonic ideal of a pale ale. Just enough piney bitterness to prick the tongue, with a layer of crisp maltiness below.
I initially didn't think much of this brewery due to their straightforward name, but between this and their Alt, they have jumped to the top of my Austin brewery list. Keep it up, guys!

Draft at the brewery. Clear, copper colored, light eggshell colored head. The smell is nice, citrus, hops, veggies, slight caramel. Taste is some bitterness, fruits, grassy, hops, and ok. AcctError160898 (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - APR 17, 2012
On draft at The Barber Shop - Pours a deep golden color with a white head and some lacing present. The aroma is citrusy and the initial tastes supports that impression. The citrus theme continues with a a long aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium-light to medium. Would drink again.
